Solar Mole Repeller Working Principle When placed in the ground and activated, sonic pulses penetrate the soil, emitting a sound which is highly irritating to underground rodents who are almost blind but extremely sensitive to sound and vibrations. Works Well On: Moles, gophers, voles and other burrowing rodents. Allow 7- 14 days before moles and gophers start to move away from the area. Note: Use a wooden stake or steel rod to make a pilot hole prior to inserting the repeller into the ground. Do not use a hammer or excessive force as doing so may cause damage.
